IT Governance

Information Technology (IT) Governance provides advice and oversight to campus strategies for IT at UC Santa Cruz. In support of UC Santa Cruz's shared governance principle, IT Governance committees aim to include representatives from the Academic Senate. If there is no representative, the appropriate Academic Senate Committee is engaged for their academic and research insight.

IT Governance at UC Santa Cruz is managed via the following committees. Subcommittees (not listed) may be formed to move forward strategic IT campus initiatives under the auspices of the appropriate committee. Note that the Executive Committee charge is being developed and will be published in early 2024.
